The AMF is an independent public authority responsible for ensuring that savings invested in financial products are protected, providing investors with adequate information and supervising the orderly operation of markets.

Each year, the AMF publishes its action and supervisory priorities. In 2022, we will be focusing on the following matters:

  • Europe
  • Retail investment
  • Sustainable finance
  • Modernisation of the AMF's action

Our organisation

The AMF has two distinct collegial bodies: the Board and the Enforcement Committee. The AMF relies on consultative commissions and a Scientific Advisory Board.

The AMF plays a key role with French, European and international institutions, and this has become even more important in today’s globalised financial markets that call for the emergence of precise, consistent and harmonised international standards.
