Article 251-2
The operator of a recognised market, or any person acting on its behalf, shall ensure that the financial instruments offered in a promotional communication aimed at retail investors are suitable for them.
If clients are not properly informed about the risks involved, the AMF may order the operator of a recognised market, or any other person acting on its behalf, by any means whatsoever, to suspend marketing or trading.
