Make a shift towards European supervision to achieve a true savings and investments Union
With the aim of promoting the development of capital markets, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) sets out, in a position paper, proposals for more effective supervision of European capital markets. Unified, consistent and robust supervision is essential if the European Union is to consolidate financial stability, simplify the regulatory framework and ensure better protection for investors, while building a single market for financial services that lives up to its ambitions.
