The AMF announces the withdrawal of AUTOMATA France SAS’s registration as a digital asset service provider effective from 30 June 2026

The Board of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) decided on 7 May 2026, following the assent of the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR), to withdraw the registration of the company AUTOMATA France SAS, operating via Vancelian.com, as a digital asset service provider (DASP) effective from 30 June 2026. The withdrawal proceeding was launched, at the initiative of the AMF, on the grounds that AUTOMATA France SAS was carrying out the activity of crowdfunding without the required license and that the illegal exercise of such activity demonstrated a failure from the senior managers and significant shareholders to comply with their obligations in terms of good repute and competence.

The provisions set out in the French Monetary and Financial Code allow the effective date of the withdrawal of a DASP’s registration to be set at the expiry of a specific period determined to ensure the orderly wind-down of the DASP’s activities. The Board of the AMF decided to set this date as on 30 June 2026.

During this period, AUTOMATA France SAS had to provide, following this decision, only those services and carry out only those operations strictly necessary for the orderly wind-down of its affairs, and had to return control of the means of access to digital assets to its clients as soon as possible according to the procedures previously specified by its clients.

The AMF is in regular contact with the teams of AUTOMATA France SAS in order to ensure the effective cessation of its activities while safeguarding the interests of clients, the priority of the regulator being the protection of investors.

As from 30 June 2026, the effective date of the withdrawal of registration, AUTOMATA France SAS is required to inform the public of the withdrawal of its registration as DASP, update its website by removing all references to its registration as DASP by the AMF, and finalize the implementation of its orderly wind-down arrangements.
