The AMF awards its 2024 prize for young researchers in economics to Maxime Bonelli
The AMF launched the Young Researcher Award in 2015 to support academic research on topics related to regulation and the financial markets. The AMF prize rewards this year Maxime Bonelli, Assistant Professor at London Business School.
This year, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers is awarding its Young Researcher Prize in Economics to Maxime Bonelli, for his original work using innovative techniques in several areas of specific interest to the AMF. His research focuses on the issues surrounding developments in asset management, namely the integration of artificial intelligence tools, the biases of investment advisors' recommendations, the strategic marketing of management companies, and the mobility of portfolio managers in the financial industry.
The winner will officially receive his prize at the meeting of the AMF Scientific Advisory Board on 7 February 2025, during which he will present the results of his research to the Board members.
The €5,000 AMF Young Researcher Award in economics recognises and encourages the work of researchers under the age of 35 on economic and financial topics of interest to the securities market regulator.
Ph.D. in Mathematics from Inria in 20216, Maxime Bonelli obtained his PhD in Finance from HEC Paris in 2023. His main research interests are in asset management, corporate finance and technological innovation.
