AMF withdraws authorisation for portfolio management company Arkeon Gestion

The Board of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) has decided to withdraw its authorisation for Arkeon Gestion after examining the situation of the portfolio management company. This withdrawal will take effect on 15 June 2016.

The Board of the AMF, meeting on 15 March 2016, took note of the decision of the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris (Commercial Court) to open winding-up proceedings concerning portfolio management company Arkeon Gestion. The Paris Commercial Court appointed Valérie Leloup-Thomas as administrator in charge of the liquidation of the company.

Pursuant to Article L. 532-10 of the French Monetary and Financial Code, the AMF Board has decided to withdraw its authorisation for Arkeon Gestion as a portfolio management company. Its authorisation is withdrawn with due effect from 15 June 2016.

Until that date, the portfolio management company is placed under the control of Ms Claude Dupuy, who is appointed as representative by the AMF to ensure that the company may only carry out those transactions during this period that are strictly necessary to protect the interests of clients and unitholders in the investment funds managed by the said company.
