The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) is warning the public against sites misusing its name and logo and redirecting to binary option trading platforms.

The Autorité des Marchés Financiers is alerting the public regarding www.optionbinaireamf.com website which is abusing its name and logo to promote binary trading options on platforms regulated by the competent Cypriot authorities.

The www.optionbinaireamf.com website provides information and comparison services on binary option brokers.

The use of the AMF's name and logo in connection with this site may lead internet users to believe that AMF endorses its content. However, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers does not perform any ranking of binary option providers. Indeed, the AMF regularly warns individual investors against trading on Forex or with binary options in view of the risks linked to this type of investment.

Finally, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers also states that the reproduction of its logo is strictly regulated and should not be used in any way that may generate a risk of confusion.
