Savers have reported to the AMF that they have received messages asking them to contact a certain Stéphane Delaplace, who claims he is the head of a regulatory division of the AMF investigating a trading platform, https://www.union-crypto.com/.
Numerous individuals have reported to the AMF that they have been contacted by email by a certain Stéphane Delaplace, who claims to be the head of the "AMF Regulatory Division" investigating a trading platform, http://www.union-crypto.com.
The AMF is notifying the public that it does not employ a person called Stéphane Delaplace.
In addition, the http://www.union-crypto.com trading platform was recently informed by the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) and the AMF that it could not carry out its trading business in France without receiving the relevant authorisations for providing investment services.
The AMF is calling on individuals receiving an email from Stéphane Delaplace or any other person claiming to belong to the AMF to not reply to the message and to contact the AMF Epargne Info Service team on +33 (0)1 53 45 62 00 from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
The AMF has transmitted the items in its possession on Stéphane Delaplace and the http://www.union-crypto.com trading platform to the public prosecutor's office in Paris (Parquet de Paris) to which individuals who are victims of their actions may make themselves known.
