The Autorité des Marchés Financiers warns the public about the websites www.lascpi.fr and www.scpi-gouv.fr improperly using its name and logo
The regulator draws the public's attention to the behaviour of the websites www.lascpi.fr and www.scpi-gouv.fr which are using its name and logo improperly to propose to investors investment simulators and practical guides to investment in real estate investment companies (SCPIs).
The www.lascpi.fr and www.scpi-gouv.fr websites state that they offer investors investment simulators and guides to investment in real estate investment companies (SCPIs). The association of the AMF name and logo with these sites could make website visitors think that the AMF approves their content. However, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers neither produces nor supervises any simulator of investments in real estate investment companies (SCPIs).
Lastly, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers issues a reminder that the reproduction of its logo is strictly controlled and that it must not be used in an ambiguous manner that could create a risk of confusion.
