The Enforcement Committee of the Autorité des marchés financiers will soon publish press releases for each sanction decision
Starting 1 January 2019, the sanction decisions handed down by the Committee will be accompanied by a press release, in French and English, for informative purposes.
The purpose of this publication is to improve information on the Committee's decisions by providing the public, both in France and abroad, and in particular professionals and investors, with the key points of these decisions.
The public may read the decision in French on the AMF website.
About the AMF Enforcement Committee
The Enforcement Committee, which is made up of judges and professionals, has total freedom to make decisions. It can impose sanctions on any person or company whose practices contravene laws and regulations that fall within the jurisdiction of the AMF. It ratifies settlement agreements signed by the Secretary General and respondents. And it takes part in the AMF's educational efforts by clarifying financial regulations when explaining its decisions.
