AMF Chair, Marie-Anne Barbat-Layani, met with Fang Xinghai, Vice Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), on May 21, at the AMF premises in Paris.
Marie-Anne Barbat-Layani and Fang Xinghai discussed the state of their economies and the major evolutions in financial markets.
Both authorities are committed to developing capital markets.
Marie-Anne Barbat-Layani thus presented the new initiatives in Europe to create a real Capital Markets Union, to meet the financing needs of the European economy fostered by the ecological and digital transitions, as well as defense financing.
