The AMF has set up a CSR Committee

In its first CSR report published in October 2023, the AMF had committed to structuring the governance of its social and environmental responsibility project. This commitment took concrete form in March 2024 with the establishment of its CSR Committee.

The purpose of the AMF’s CSR Committee

Since the first measurements of the AMF’s greenhouse gas emissions in 2021, CSR has become a unifying and increasingly visible topic within the AMF. It is in fact at the heart of the Impact 2027 strategic orientations : axis 6 of the strategic plan, which states that the AMF should « commit to an ambitious CSR policy and increase its participation to the charters and initiatives deployed in this regard ».

The AMF has already launched a number of initiatives. It also encourages initiatives carried by its teams to develop and promote CSR (organisation of solidarity runs, one-off initiatives in support of charities, etc.).

The next step was to put in place a framework to structure the governance of its actions and define objectives in this domain.

The creation of this committee is a concrete demonstration of the AMF's determination to improve its processes, engage its employees in its approach and ensure transparency vis-à-vis its stakeholders.

The governance of the AMF’s CSR Committee

Chaired by Marie-Anne Barbat-Layani, the Chair of the AMF, and headed by Sébastien Raspiller, AMF Secretary General, the CSR Committee is made up of :

  • A steering committee : it will meet up quarterly, to define and support the roll out of the AMF’s CSR strategy. It will report to the Directorates.
  • A monitoring committee : it will meet regularly to monitor the operational progress of the guidelines set out by the steering committee. It includes those responsible for each aspect of the CSR perimeter (building, travel, social, IT, communication, etc.). Its members will ensure the involvement of the contributors identified in the various departments, who will be responsible for collecting data and indicators, and ensuring that deadlines are met.

The monitoring committee will be supported by a network of contributors responsible for the collection, reliability and periodic transmission of environmental and social performance data and indicators.

The first missions of the AMF’s CSR Committee

The CSR committee’s first task will be to prioritise the areas in which it can invest, ensure the reliability of its data, and develop relevant indicators to assess the performance of its CSR actions.
