The Climate and Sustainable Finance Commission (CCFD), which brings together a range of stakeholders from the financial market, civil society and academia, has published a position paper on climate resolutions. The document outlines how members would like to see dialogue on climate issues in the General Assembly.

The findings, proposals and recommendations contained in this publication express the analyses and reflections of the members of this commission. This position, which the CCFD wished to publish, as permitted by its founding charter, does not commit the AMF.

The findings, assessments and recommendations in this publication do not reflect a position of the AMF Board nor the AMF departments, but are exclusively those of the CCFD.

Furthermore, this publication adopted at the end of January 2023 by the CCFD does not necessarily represent the views of the institutions to which its members belong.

This document is the result of work carried out by a working group started in July 2022 and composed of members of the AMF's Climate and Sustainable Finance Commission. The Climate and Sustainable Finance Commission is made up of financial market players, companies, academics, experts and representatives of civil society. Its role is to help the AMF carry out its regulatory and supervisory missions on issues related to sustainable finance. The Commission's role is to provide technical expertise and an overview of market developments and practices, as well as emerging issues. Since its creation, the Commission has, for example, worked on the extra-financial reporting of companies and the principle of double materiality, on the role of rating agencies and suppliers of environmental, social and governance (ESG) data, and on carbon neutrality. The Commission also provides advisory opinions on draft reports or doctrine documents of the Authority.
