Perspectives on the techniques used to market speculative trading on the Forex and binary options markets
In this study, the AMF recalls the actions taken against online speculative trading platforms that target retail investors. It builds on the academic research on behavioural biases and manipulation, and interprets the results both in the light of its own empirical experience of supervision, and according to the legal and regulatory framework that applies to the provision of investment services. This interdisciplinary analysis fuels the regulator's thinking on new ways to identify and address aggressive commercial practices.
