    Published on October 26, 2017 This discussion paper focuses on Initial Coin Offerings (ICO). It includes a description of ICOs, a warning on the risks these types of operation represent, a legal analysis of ICOs with respect to the rules that fall under the remit of the AMF to enforce, and three options for future regulation of ICOs. The consultation is open from 26 October 2017 until 22 December 2017. Participants are invited to send their responses by 22 December 2017 at the very latest to the following address:

  • The AMF publishes the summary of responses to the public consultation on initial coin offerings (ICO)

    Published on February 22, 2018 Among the 82 responses made to the Autorité des marchés financiers’ consultation, a large majority of respondents expressed support for setting up an appropriate legal framework for this new type of fundraising. The AMF Board has decided to continue work on definition of a specific legal framework for ICOs.

  • Appointment of Domitille Dessertine to the Autorité des Marchés Financiers as head of the FinTech, Innovation and Competitiveness division

    Published on May 22, 2018 Member of the Regulatory Policy and International Affairs Directorate (DRAI) for the past five years, Domitille Dessertine participated in the creation of the Fintech, Innovation and Competitiveness (FIC) division in May 2016. She has been appointed head of the division, succeeding Franck Guiader, who left the AMF after seven years dedicated to financial regulation, innovation and competitiveness.
