The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) warns the public against the activities of persons purporting to be Mr Franck LEROY and Mr Nicolas GRECY from the company "AMF" (Autorité Money Forex).

The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) draws the public's attention to the activities of persons purporting to be Mr Franck LEROY and Mr Nicolas GRECY. These persons introduce themselves as belonging to "the AMF" (Autorité Money Forex) and invite French investors to place money on binary options websites, without having the required authorisations.

Private individuals have reported to the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) that they have been contacted by persons purporting to be Mr Franck LEROY and Mr Nicolas GRECY of the company "AMF" (Autorité Money Forex) to invest on binary options websites, notably with the supposed aim of recovering losses made in previous transactions.

The Autorité des Marchés Financiers points out that the company Autorité Money Forex ("AMF") and the persons purporting to be Mr Franck LEROY and Mr Nicolas GRECY are not authorised to conduct banking or financial advertising activities or to provide investment services in France. In addition to this, these persons are being intentionally ambiguous by introducing themselves improperly as acting for the Autorité des Marchés Financiers.

These persons are also likely to refer the persons they have contacted to an organisation offering training. The Autorité des Marchés Financiers strongly recommends that you should check the status of this organisation before making any enrolments.

Consequently, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers urges investors not to respond to the offers made by the company Autorité Money Forex ("AMF") or anyone acting in its name.

The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) has referred the information it holds on the persons purporting to be Mr Franck LEROY and Mr Nicolas GRECY and on the company Autorité Money Forex ("AMF") to the Paris Prosecutor's Office, to which any individuals who have been victims of their activities may make themselves known.

In order to avoid any risk of confusion in the public mind, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) reminds you that its name and acronym must not be used ambiguously.

Finally, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers has updated the list of unauthorised websites offering binary options trading.
