The Autorité des Marchés Financiers set up in 2018 a monitoring of retail investors’ perceptions of the clarity of the regulatory documents. This synthesis summarizes the findings of the studies conducted on different kinds of investment, which reveals difficulties of understanding and the need for a less technical language.
